Packing Your Shipment
It is far more cost-effective to pack boxes yourself. Be mindful not to overfill any so they are not too heavy for the collectors at the other end of their journey. Ideally, electronic equipment, such as TVs, should be packed in manufacturer’s boxes, which if you no longer possess, can often be purchased or provided for free from electronic stores. Take care to pack books, toiletries and clothes in strong cartons and chests – suitable for international travel.
You will need to provide us with a packing list, which gives an overview of the contents in each box as customs officials in your new country will want this information readily available. We recommend that high-value items, such as laptops, should travel with you as they are not suitable for cargo and may be damaged. You will also need to provide shipping instructions, something we can easily help you with. Once all is prepared and labelled, you will simply need to speak to us to arrange collection and we will take care of the rest.
